Raising Awareness For Tibet

The struggles of the Tibetan people under Chinese occupation are unknown to the general public, despite that the UN along with several other nations, have launched campaigns to aid them. However, from multiple academic sources, one can estimate that approximately 1.5 to 2 million Tibetans are living in exile or outside Tibet; and approximately 6.5 to 7 million Tibetans are living in Tibet controlled directly by China.

Lead Poisoning: Rhode Island Schools

Chronic exposure lead can be disastrous to children, yet most policies continue to operate on a on a “wait and see” notion,with  little being done to stop the irreversible damage before it takes place throughout Rhode Island and the rest of the Northeast.

We have all seen the pictures and videos of turtles with plastic rings around their necks and seagulls choking on trash. We did not always use such disposable products, and this practice does not need to continue in the future.

Implementation of Honest Sex Education in the United States

If there is little or no sex education, we are sending young people out into the world with no knowledge of how to protect themselves. Just as they would if they drove with no driver’s education, they will have sex with no sex education.

Honey Bee Conservation

Bees. We love them, we hate them, we love to hate them, but we can’t deny the importance of them in agriculture. Humanity is growing more and more each day. Our population has overgrown and it has forced farmers into an industry that has slowly become unsustainable, which has caused the decline of bee populations.
